 She is the laureate of "Konkurs Mlodych ZKP" (1978, honourable for ".wedlug Pascala"), of Weber Competition in Drezden (1978, II prize for the cameral opera "Ariadna"), of Electro-acoustic Music Competition in Bourges (1980, honourable for "The Waste Land" and "Listy do M.") and the competition for lady composers in Mannheim (1982, prize for "Guernica"). Elzbieta Sikora got two SACEM prizes in 1994: Prix Pedagogique for "Chant Europe" and Prix du Printemps for all her artistic works. In 1996 she got the "Nouveau Talent Musique" prize for the opera "Wyrywacz Serc" from SACD (Association of Dramatic Authors and Composers) in Paris. In 1997 rewarded with "Krzyz Kawalerski Orderu Zaslug Rzeczypospolitej". The pieces of music composed by Elzbieta Sikora have been performed in most of the European countries and in the United States., among others, in the festival in Avinion, Festival Estival Paris, Dresdner Musikfestpiele, Fylkingen festival in Stockholm, GMBE in Bourges and in "Warsaw Fall" festival. In June 1997 her opera "Wyrywacz Serc" was performed in the Pompidou Center. |

 The composer and clarinet player. He was born in 1971, studied composition under prof.Wlodzimierz Kotonski in the Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw. In the years 1991-1993 took part in summer courses for composers in Kazimierz Dolny and in Gaudeamus Music Week in Amsterdam (1992). He was present in the lectures of such composers as: Krzysztof Penderecki, Witold Lutoslawski, Henryk Mikolaj Gorecki, Michael Nyman, Magnus Lindberg, Louis Andriessen and Francoise Bernard Mache. In 1993 he made his debut in the "Warsaw Fall" festival with "La Strada" piece of music. In 1995 his composition "3 for 13" , which he composed at the request of the II Programme of the Polish Radio, got the first prize in the age category up to 30 in the International Composers Tribune UNESCO in Paris. In 1996 his "Epifora" ordered by the Experimental Studio of Polish Radio came first in the age category up to 30 in the Electro-acoustic Music Tribune UNESCO in Amsterdam. He also composed at the request of the "Warsaw Fall" festival ("Eine kleine Herbstmusik"), and such music groups like: de Ereprijs (Holland), The Balcea Quartett (England) or The Icebreaker (England). In January 2000 he got the prestigious prize - "Passport Polityki". In the same month his composition "3 for 13" was presented at the Record Fairs MIDEM in Cannes. |

The composer, pianist, actor and director. Along with Jeremi Przybora created the radio theatre "Eterek", the "Old Gentlemen Cabaret" (1958-70) and the "Even Older Gentlemen Cabaret" (1978-80). He also co-operated with the cabarets "Szpak" and "Dudek". He was also the composer of the soundtracks to the feature films ("Café pod Minoga" , directed by B.Brok, "Upal", directed by K.Kutz), musicals ("Machiavelii", "Ballada o tamtych dniach", Jeszcze stokrotki", "Panna Zuzanna"), performances ("Szklana menazeria", "Romantyczni"), TV programs ("Medea", "Moja sympatia", Rachunek nieprawdopodobienstwa", "Divertimento").
Jerzy Wasowski's songs with the lyrics by Jeremi Przybora are still very popular. They are among others: "Jesienna dziewczyna", "Addio pomidory", Bo we mnie jest sex", "Upiorny twist". |

 (1915 - 2004 ), the Polish writer and actor, one of the most outstanding authors in the history of Polish stage art. In the years 1937-1939, also after 1948 associated with Polish Radio where he worked as an announcer, later he was the author of many programs (eg."Eterek" theatre). Along with J.Wasowski he created the most famous entertaining program of Polish TV: "Kabaret Starszych Panow" (1958-1970), and then "Kabaret Jeszcze Starszych Panow" (1978-1980). As the author of songs texts he developed the original style full exquisite humor, lyricism and poetical metaphors. The language of his songs influenced the modern Polish language to a large extent. Scripts and texts presented by the outstanding Polish actors led later to something called "author's song" (K.jedrusik, B.Krafftowna, I.Kwiatkowska, W.Golas, W.Michnikowski, B.Lazuka and others). He also wrote texts for singers (eg.I.Santor, E.Bem, H.Banaszak), rewarded many times at festivals ( Opole , Sopot). He is the author of the screenplay of "Upal" film (1964, directed by K.Kutz), of libretto or songs' texts to Symphony buffo and other theatre performances. The texts of the songs and his scripts, satirical pieces of his work and so on were published in books (eg. "Spacerek przez Eterek" (1957), "Basnie", "Szeherezadka" (1966), Kabaret Starszych Panow - choice of texts (1969-1975), "Listy z podrozy" (1970-1973), "Dziecko szczescia" (1975), "Divertimento" (1976), "Mieszanka firmowa" (1977). |

Born in 1959 in Gdansk , he studied under prof.Jan Tawroszewicz and prof.Krzysztof Jakowicz. He is the laureate of both national and international music competitions. After graduating from Warsaw Music Academy he got a scholarship of Karl Klinger Association. He studied in Hochschule fur Musik in Koln , taking lessons from the famous quartet "Amadeus". After his return to Poland he continued his studies under prof. Tadeusz Wronski. As a violonist, solist and performer of chamber music he gave concerts with many orchestras both in Poland ad abroad. He made many archival recordings for the Polish Radio and TV, and also for French, South-Korean and German TV (eg. first ever performance of the J.Paderewski I Concert, 1991).
Since 1984 he is a lecturer at the Warsaw Music Academy . His students have been rewarded many competitions both in Poland and abroad. |
